Certified in straight razor cutting by Bumble & Bumble and Arrojo, Kate has worked in high-end salons and styled for NYFW, editorial shoots, and film. Her NYC experience fostered collaboration with global talent, while her travels inspire her creativity through textiles, antiques, art, film, and most notably 1970’s punk rock.

Jae Shark
Jae, a creative introvert, found confidence by embracing her natural curls and is passionate about helping others do the same. A hairstylist since 2008, she honed her skills in cutting and styling across New Jersey and New York, focusing on natural curl education. In 2015, Jae embraced free-form curl shaping, and in 2021, she expanded into color, becoming a Wella colorist. She completed the Wella Color Expert program in 2023, specializing in creating bespoke looks for every client.

Meghan Mello
Meghan grew up surrounded by hairdressing, with her mother’s salon in their home. After earning a degree in Hospitality Management and working in luxury hotels, she returned to her passion—hair. She’s worked in top salons in Seattle and Pittsburgh and eventually returned to Providence after becoming a mother. Meghan specializes in dry cutting, highlighting, and gender affirming cuts. She enjoys all aspects of hairdressing.

M Semrau
Meet our stylist in training, M. Semrau. An MFA graduate from RISD, M. spent over 15 years in jewelry design before returning to her lifelong passion for hair. Inspired by creativity and connection, she empowers clients through tailored cuts and color that reflect their authentic selves, drawing inspiration from New Wave, fashion, travel, art, and street style.

Meredith Britt
Meredith has been a licensed hairstylist since 2011 and as a creative extroverted introvert she loves what she does and this industry. She’s worked for the past 10 years at a full service salon in the suburbs of Boston. Services she loves to do are foiling and blonding, formal styling and creative hair cutting. The technique she uses is called French Hair cutting and is based off each clients head and face shape to give a customized result. She prides myself on being able to communicate well with clients and creating a comfortable atmosphere for all. She believes there is nothing more gratifying than seeing new confidence shine through a client’s face at the end of a service. A few things about her, she is an avid equestrian and I lover of night life with a good DJ curating the vibe, as well as trying new restaurants and enjoying trips to wellness spas and art museums. She puts a big importance in romanticizing her life. Ask her about what hot events are going on in the city during your appointment she’ll point you in the right direction, and would love to see you in her chair!
